Gareth Green  MA (Oxon), MA (Leeds), FRCO(CHM), FLCM, ARCM
 

Gareth is much in demand as a teacher and has a large practice comprising students of all ages. Some students are novices and some are working at diploma and degree level. An increasing number of students now study with him on Skype and on FaceTime, enabling study to take place anywhere in the world. Gareth offers lessons in piano, church organ, theory, composition and arranging, GCSE, A level, diplomas, degrees etc. Gareth is also an examiner, trainer, and moderator for ABRSM. The remainder of his professional life is dedicated to performing as an organist, pianist and choral director. Besides a background in school teaching and as a Cathedral Organist he has also undertaken much work for BBC Religious Broadcasting and on other networks, and has made various CD recordings. Gareth is the Musical Director of "Music Matters", which organises choral days, choral weekends, day courses in theory, sight singing, music appreciation etc, and which offers high level teaching live or via Skype in all areas of music.
